Why can’t people take kindness?

Morning or should I say Good Noon.

I am baffled about something and it is about people not being able to take kindness and appreciate it. I obviously missed my bus this morning so I had to wait for the next one, which is not a problem since they come every 6 minutes or so. While I am waiting the crowd and the line for the bus starts growing and in addition to that a family with a hyper kid. The bus arrives, in time, which I am so thankful for and I have to say that I love bus number 1. Go 1, goo. So I am the second one to get on and I saw that the husband went on the bus with the baby carriage and their totally flipped out son who just wants to "do" something different every 2 seconds. So I let the mum go on before me and I also tell her "Its Ok, you can get on before me" since I felt that she had to go to the husband and help him with the kid and the carriage. She didn't even say Thanks or anything she just went on. I was like.. hmm ok.. last time I checked people used to show gratitude in the form of a thank you. But hey, humanity, its not really making progress is it? It is going straight down the hill and still, there are so many "humanitarians" out there. All these people and organisations, live better, treat each other with respect, Eco living the list could go on long but still people can not move on and get out of their little tiny boxes that they have put themselves in. I say Yeaj for humanity and the fact that we need to interact more with our fellow beings and appreciate kindness and also give it back, not necessarily to that exact person who acts in kindness to you but to someone else. You know, karma is a b***h, she said and put a full stop.

Giving is a virtue
