I wish I could be….

Saturday chic

Clogs

1.Get your feet out of those winter boots, start with the pedicure and invest, inspire and indulge in a pair of clogs.
2. Save money for the most awesome pairs of Clogs, which would be Chanel (as seen on Alexa Chung) but we all know us mortals can not afford those babies so I will give a few examples of what you can get instead and not put yourself in a personal bankruptcy.

Clogs

1. Jeffrey Campbell ‘Charli-C’ clog $125 nordstrom.com
2. KG by Kurt Geiger ‘Hadassah’ clog £160 kurtgeiger.com
3. Vera Wang ‘Daisey’ clog $ 215 nordstrom.com
4. Kurt Geiger ‘Jola’ clog £150 kurtgeiger.com
These are the ones I really liked and felt had a reasonable price. Make sure to keep your eyes on the Zara clogs that are in the shops. Enjoy the inspiration!

Longing

Nude shades, Denim, Stripes and FushiaNude shades are hot this spring/summer! Stripey t-shirt and denim shirt are already in my closet and waiting to be worn this summer. Make sure not to forget to colour your feet with a fabulous pair of colourful loafers. My favourite colour this year on my feet will be electric blue and fuchsia.

Chanel fever

Chanel fever

This Chanel bag is amazing and so are the vintage gold Chanel earrings. Just top off with a cherry coloured nail polish and you are good to go!

Project #3

So while doing some style advice research I came across a few things I would like to try and make. I will try and modify the items as much as I can so they will be more ‘Melis’ and original. I have a lot of fabric at home laying around waiting to be worked, so I need to get going on the designing ASAP!

styleadvice3

I already have the light fabric at home and I have been a mess trying to figure out what to make of it and see when you wait for something good… All I need to buy is the black fabric and get going on figuring out the skirt part.

The skirts below are easy and all I need to find is the fitting fabric to go with the different styles

skirt1 Feather light!

Apparently seen in Grazia (my favourite UK mag), gorgeous skirt!

Thank god I live in the land of textiles! Can not wait until Nazlı brings me to Bursa textile shop in Ankara. Love you honey!

Wish me luck!

Time for some creativity

It is 18:17 here in Istanbul and I have just finished browsing around on the net. I was in desperate need of some inspiration for my Christmas dress which I supposedly will make all on my own. Eh we will see how well it will turn out. I will make sure to post pictures of the finished product.

Some inspiration came from…..

2 Cute little dresses from H&M ideal in red! Off course slightly modified due to my intermediate sewing level =)

And I just could not stop myself from browsing ASOS a bit and found these 3 cute dresses. So yes my dear readers out there. What will the result be?

Stay tuned.
